These programs will teach individuals with little or no previous experience the basic principals of security using the Texas required materials for Level I, Level II, Level III, and Level IV courses, and the IFPO required materials for the CPO and CSSM courses. In addition, NPS uses an original program for the Defensive Driving for Security Officers course.
Level I Security Officer Training (4 hours) $40.00
This course provides the Level I training and certification as required by the State of

Defensive Driving for the Security Officer (4 hours) $40.00
This course introduces the student to the concepts of safe driving, including vehicle inspections, accident avoidance, alertness, speed management, space management, night driving, adverse weather driving, driving emergencies, and accident procedures. It also discusses the special considerations for driving a marked security patrol vehicle, including legalities for equipment uses on public and private property.
